Ojai, CA—Located just 2.5 miles north of the “Y” on Maricopa Highway 33, Bodee’s is a local favorite as well as destination dining delight nestled in the hills of the breathtaking Ojai Valley. So, if you are looking for a unique way to spend some quality time with DAD…how about brunch at Bodee’s…where all DADS will be treated like a “king” for the day by the Proprietress, Michele Cromer-Bentivolio, whose family has owned and operated this one of a kind eatery for over half a century.

Bodee’s has worked up a mouth watering menu sure to please DAD and the whole family. And what’s better than Bodee’s great outdoor setting, a perfect place to have a leisurely brunch situated among the water-scaped garden, soaking in the glorious Ojai sunshine while listening to the acoustic guitar melodies of Al Westcott playing a blend of contemporary, country, and classic tunes to make this day a truly special occasion. Al will be performing at Bodee’s from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.

The 3 course, brunch menu is full of hearty offerings just ready to tantalize DAD’S taste buds. Course one starts off with either baby greens drizzled with a roasted garlic and apple vinaigrette, topped with gorgonzola, tomatoes, and cucumbers or, try out, Bodee’s own signature chili with 4 beans, ground beef and a handful of secret seasonings topped with cheddar cheese, avocado sour cream and a hint of cilantro. It doesn’t get any better than that!

Course two has four options to choose from; Bodee’s famous baby back ribs with chipotle coleslaw and bacon-bleu cheese potato salad is a real winner, or if fish is preferred, then DAD can opt for the barbequed glazed salmon with roasted lemon, fried yams, and broccoli. On the lighter side, dad can choose Chef Christopher Watson’s special penne pasta with grilled chicken breast, topped with a tomato cream sauce, shitake mushrooms, and peas. And last but not least by any means, is Bodee’s succulent New York strip-loin, generously topped with a caramelized onion sauce and served with ranch fries, and green beans.

To conclude the meal, Chef Chris has prepared a delicious trio of dessert bars that are sure to satisfy DAD’S sweet tooth…YUM!

The price for brunch is $23.95 and reservations are highly recommended as there will be two brunch seating’s, the first of which is at 11:00 am and the second at 1:30 pm.
